Launched in February 2008, the magazine has carved a niche in the motoring trade press as a business publication that throws a light on the fun side of the car sales arena while reporting on the key automotive topics in detail.

Car Dealer hosts the biggest Used Car Awards ceremony in the industry every December. Hosted by TV’s Mr Wheeler Dealer, Mike Brewer, the event was attended by more than 600 dealers in 2015. Hosted at The Brewery, London, the event has become an annual celebration of the vital part of the car industry every year.
In 2014 Car Dealer launched CDX – a huge automotive industry Expo at Silverstone. Held every year this event brings together thousands of dealers and motor trade suppliers in Expo halls for conferences, networking, workshops and key note speeches.
The magazine also hosts an annual Car Dealer Power awards event at the top of the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. This is where our readers vote for their favourite suppliers and we mark the very best with a glittering awards ceremony. The much-coveted gongs get more competitive every year.
Car Dealer has a thriving community of readers online too. The website enjoys impressive visitor numbers every day, while there’s an active Forum, a popular Twitter feed and an entertaining YouTube channel.
