Probabilitas dan statistika merupakan mata kuliah dasar pada semester ke tiga. Tujuan mata kuliah ini adalah memberikan pemahaman dasar mengenai konsep peluang dan statistika kepada mahasiswa. Setelah mengikuti kuliah ini mahasiswa diharapkan dapat mengasah penalaran/intuisi/pola pikir dalam memecahkan suatu masalah dengan konpilkan dan menganalisis data yang diambil secara acak (sampling) untuk menarik kesimpulan. Selain itu, kuliah ini bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa untuk mempelajari mata kuliah lain yang memerlukan materi peluang dan statistika.

Matakuliah ini mempersiapkan mahasiswa untuk mengikuti tes TOEFL institusional (TOEFL ITP) pada akhir kursus untuk mengukur kemahiran bahasa Inggris mereka dalam standar internasional. Metodologi penyampaian kursus untuk setiap pertemuan dibagi menjadi tiga bagian: teori, latihan, dan diskusi. Isi matakuliah difokuskan pada tiga keterampilan yang akan diuji di TOEFL ITP; mereka mendengarkan, menyusun dan menulis ekspresi dan pemahaman bacaan. Terlepas dari pertemuan kelas, mahasiswa akan terdorong untuk melakukan lebih banyak latihan dalam menjawab TOEFL ITP seperti latihan pada waktu mereka sendiri.

Teori teknologi proses dan produk hayati merupakan pengetahuan dan heuristic dalam merancang dan merekayasa produk dan proses hayati secara sistematik: sintesa, analisis dan evaluas

Materi kuliah ini mengenai penguasaan teknik dasar dalam Aljabar Linear Elementer. Melalui mata kuliah ini diharapkan mahasiswa mampu menerapkannya untuk menyelesaikan masalah system linear serta menyelesaikan persoalan tersebut dalam bentuk matriks, vector, dan fungsi.
